Mark Your Calendars: SurveyLA Workshops Coming Your Way!

By David J. Barboza

SurveyLA wants to hear from you! That’s why we’re heading out across the City of Los Angeles to hold community workshops in the areas SurveyLA will be focusing on in its third phase (click here for a map of SurveyLA’s three phases). The workshops are a great way to learn more about the project and to suggest places of architectural, social or cultural significance that SurveyLA shouldn’t miss. To RSVP for any of these free workshops please email myhistoricla@gmail.com or use the events section of our Facebook page. RSVPs are appreciated but not required. There will be four workshops this year, each focused on a different area of the City:

  1. Lynn Russell says:

Would like to nominate Plummer Park in WH the original Rancho of Eugenio Plummer now fighting for rightful restoration. It is a Ca State Landmark but has been marginalized by the uninformed in WH. This park could easily reblossom as a jewel.

  2. SurveyLA says:

Thanks for the suggestion. Since SurveyLA is only covering places inside the City of Los Angeles it would probably be most effective to raise this idea with the West Hollywood City Council.
